Understanding Premium Listings

The Premium Listings section shows your business's presence on major voice search platforms:

  • Amazon Alexa – Powers Echo devices and Alexa-enabled products
  • Google Assistant – Used on Google Home, Android phones, and smart displays
  • Apple Siri – Built into iPhones, iPads, Macs, and HomePod
  • Samsung Bixby – Found on Samsung smartphones and smart TVs
  • Microsoft Cortana – Integrated with Windows devices and Microsoft products

Each listing will show one of the following statuses:

StatusMeaning
SyncedYour business is live and optimized on this platform
SyncingYour information is being pushed to this platform
Connect your accountThe platform connection needs to be established

Connecting Your Google Maps Account

To maximize your voice search visibility, your Google Business Profile should be connected to your Voice Dashboard. Here is how to connect it:

Step 1: Navigate to the Premium Listings tab

Step 2: Find the Google Maps publisher option

Step 3: Click "Connect Account"

Step 4: You will be redirected to a Google sign-in page

Step 5: Sign into the Google account that manages your business listing

Step 6: Grant the requested permissions

Step 7: Select your business location if prompted

Once connected, your Google Business Profile data will sync with the voice platforms to ensure consistency.

Troubleshooting: If your business does not appear after connecting, contact your Account Manager for assistance.

Viewing Directories & Citations

Click on "Directories & Citations" then select "All Listings" to see every publisher where your business information appears.

This section displays:

  • The name of each directory or citation source
  • The sync status (whether your information is up to date)
  • Any errors or inconsistencies that need correction

Why Citations Matter:

Think of your business listing on Google like a billboard. Having that billboard is great, but if it is on a road no one travels, it will not help you. Citations place your "billboard" on busier roads where more potential customers can find you.

When Google sees your business information consistently listed across many trusted sources, it gains confidence in your business and is more likely to show you in search results.

Making Updates to Your Business Information

If any of your business information changes (address, phone number, hours, etc.), do not update it directly in the dashboard. Instead:

  1. Contact your Digital Marketing Manager
  2. Provide the updated information
  3. They will update it in our system and sync the changes across all platforms

This ensures consistency and prevents conflicting information from appearing on different directories.

Checking Your Sync Status

To verify that your information is properly synced across all platforms:

  1. Go to Directories & Citations > All Listings
  2. Look at the status column for each listing
  3. "Synced" means your information is live and accurate
  4. "Not Synced" means there may be an issue that needs attention

If you see multiple "Not Synced" entries, contact your Digital Marketing Manager so they can investigate and resolve any issues.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

I cannot log into my dashboard. Click "Forgot Password" to reset your credentials. If you still cannot access your account, contact your Digital Marketing Manager to resend your invitation.

My dashboard says "Not enough access to see page." This is a permissions issue. Contact your Digital Marketing Manager and they will update your access level.

A platform shows "Not Connected" but I thought it was set up. Some connections require periodic re-authentication. Contact your Digital Marketing Manager to re-establish the connection.

My business information appears incorrect on a listing. Do not attempt to fix it yourself. Contact your Digital Marketing Manager so they can update the information in our system and sync it across all platforms correctly.

The dashboard is not loading properly. Try clearing your browser cache, using a different browser, or accessing the dashboard from an incognito/private window. If the issue persists, contact support.
